Poem about not wanting to rebound
Wash my love away,
a bottle at a time.
Can't be I lost you,
never really mine.

Forgetting my feelings,
push them away.
You are going with them,
won't force you to stay.

Filling the void,
with someone new.
Can't help but know,
that they aren't you.

You said you'd never leave,
we'd always be friends.
But you're pulling away,
so I spend more time with him.

Just be one of the guys,
don't want to use.
Trying not to rebound,
getting more confused.

I don't love him,
and that's okay.
Don't want another,
just want to play.
