Spring would be morning, summer the afternoon.
If a day was a year,
Spring would be the morning time.
The earliest time of the day.
When flowers are the happiest,
New growth has begun.
The Morning Glory
Shows us her glorious way
In which she loves and worships the sun.
If a year was a day.

If a day was a year,
Then Spring would be that
Special time for birds to find mates;
At the Springtime Birdy Ball.
If a year was as day.

If a day was a year,
Summer would be high noon.
Break for lunch
At the peak of the day,
Not a season too soon.
If a year was a day.

If a day was a year,
Autumn would be tea time.
How ironic, another favorite time.
If a year was a day.

If a day was a year,
By the evening meal &
Getting ready for bed,
Would be that time to
Pass by and sleep out
Winter's hold on the cold.
If a year was a day.

If a day was a year,
Spring would be a morning for birth.
The time to wake and sing the loudest.
The time to have a Ball.
In some mystical way, birds would turn to Angels
Still flying & singing, after they pass on.
If a year was a day.
