A funny poem reminding lost childhood
Funny Little Boy

In the crowded bus,
nobody noticed him
But I did,
A funny little boy with broken teeth
And slender legs
Holding hands of his mother
Making his way in the crowd

There was something special
About the funny little boy
That attracted me but
What was it I never knew

My day will be good
When I see the funny little boy
The day will be bad
When I miss the funny little boy

Every time I tried to talk with him
He vanished in the thin air

He was agile and little shy
His curious eyes
kept on reading
all faces in the bus and
it became my hobby to catch him
doing that.

Days went on and on
Funny little boy was always there.
Then at times I started missing him
When I climbed ladders in my office
Or was he avoiding me ?

My eyes kept on searching
His white shirt and a khaki pant

Then days went on and on
Without the funny little boy
It was painful not to have
Funny little boy on the bus.

On fine Sunday morning
When I was summoned
For cleaning in the house
The old rubbish
from the broken cupboard
And I was shocked as I saw
picture of the funny little boy
In the black & white
in the dusty family album

My son shouted
Look papa how funny
you used to be
When you were in the fourth.
