Respect and justice.
Rule and law

Why do we make rules?
Only to break them like fools,
Stepping outside the law,
Wherever there is a hole or flaw,
Expecting no one to open their jaw,
It can no longer be used as a tool.

Instead your treated like a mule,
Is what I'm saying sound cruel?
Our brains are not made of straw,
There is little pitch and too much yaw,
Playing into hands of the outlaw,
The fire does not provide its own fuel.

After all that energy spent,
Fugitives use it and become cloaked,
Feel like your being choked?
The rules in place are bent.

They are there for what it was meant.
The issue festered and smoked,
Regardless of who's fire it stoked,
The rule and law are not for rent.
