The origins of the universe and mankind
We are now in a time, oh wait, we're not.
Excuse me, it seems as though I've forgot.
For nothing exists
At the time we're not in,
And it only consists
Of just one dimension.

Nay, the universe has not come to an end.
In fact, it's about to commence, my friend.
It did not start with a bang,
Though there was a sound.
Through all of space rang,
"Let light abound!"

And oh, how I long to see that brilliant sight -
That brilliant, brilliant, explosion of light!
'Tis was the first
From an omniscient God
Who satisfies thirst
But doth not spare the rod.

'Tis was the start of the Lord's holy plan
To create the whole world, and to share it with man.
He created land,
Air, space, and time.
With no need of his hand
Did he make the birds chime.

Plants and animals were brought forth from His voice,
'Til all of Creation rang with pleasant noise!
God scanned the whole world
From the bugs to the wood,
And as the earth whirled
He proclaimed, "It is good!"

But He was not done with His brilliant creation
For with all these creatures He had no relation.
So with meticulous care
He set out to make man.
Yes, every hair
Was a part of His plan.

He made them with love filled up to the brim.
The man was created to look just like Him.
He gave him dominion
And a beautiful wife
To share his opinion
And an amazing life.
