As the herd of horses run the field, the sound of them rushing by can be heard in the dark
A Horse Named Millie

Across the field is a mare named Millie.
Most majestic of the appaloosa.
I know this will sound odd, rather silly.
She looks through barn window like Medusa.

Thunderous hoof's make sound of bazooka.
Running upon meadows vegetation.
In moonlight she gallops under Luna.
Day time bugs become her irritation.

Staring, I use my imagination.
I pretend to saddle up, go and ride.
Then I get an up and down sensation.
Leaped like Boreas, tossed me side to side.

Back to reality is quite the surprise,
Beast of mythology, looked right in my eyes.
