Goodness is a positive character trait. Sweetened spirits and light hearts are essential.
"Sweetness and light" is a phrase people sometimes use for things without substance or depth. People need sweet to counter the sourness of the world. They need light to see their way through dark times. I'm learning to write stories that both help and entertain; to sweeten spirits and lighten hearts.
