When a Kirby character gets lonely in his world, he tends to find someone as his companion
Paul is a huge fan of the Kirby series ever since he can remember. He loved playing as the pink puffball character through all of the adventures in the games. Heck he even watched the entirety of "Kirby: Right Back At Ya" in an entire month on his computer. But to be honest one of his all-time favorite characters of the Kirby franchise was Bonkers, the hammer wielding gorilla-like creature.
After seeing him in one of the earlier Kirby games, the title of the game Paul forgot, Bonkers immediately became a favorite character of the 9-year old's. It was probably because of the way the character swings the hammer or the design, who knows. Bonkers is considered to be an idol of sorts to the boy, despite being something from a video game. The young redhead wished to be just like him, however he should be careful what he wishes for as he'll know soon enough.

It was on a Saturday morning, and he was watching TV while eating some cereal. His parents have left to do some business abroad, and won't be back for a few weeks. The little redhead is one of those kids that can take care of themselves and know what they're doing. He was considered lucky that it's the summer when his mom and dad left.

When he finished his cereal, Paul put the dish in the sink so he could wash it later on. After that he went back to the TV to finish watching his Saturday cartoons. It took a few hours until it reached noon that was when he went upstairs to his room and went on his computer like he usually does. He was in the middle of reading some fanfic on deviantart when something hit him on the head real hard.

He fell to the ground and became unconscious as his attacker loomed over the boy. It had the physique of a gorilla with big arms, the lower arms having a lot of muscle. It has a pompadour hairstyle that is purple along with the jacket look alike that it's wearing. No eyes are visible on the face but it somehow sees just fine. Also wearing pants with the leg ends torn off looking tattered, and the interesting thing is that the attacker doesn't wear shoes. His attacker looks comfortable being barefooted, judging by the way their toes are flexing on the carpet.

The attacker's name is Bonkers, the character from the Kirby franchise that Paul has been a fan of. How and why the hammer-wielding Kirby character is in the redhead's bedroom is beyond anyone's guess. But whatever the motive is it's probably for him to know. As he looked at the knocked out Paul with a smile on his face, Bonkers puts down the hammer he used to conk the boy on the head and sat down on the bed. "Me Bonkers wonder what to do with little boy," he thought aloud while pondering for a bit, before getting an idea so suddenly. "Me know. Bonkers will make little Paulie like Bonkers. That way we have our fun time together for a long time."

Before Bonkers begins what he is going to do with the still knocked cold redhead, he picks up the boy's body and carries him to the computer where they both disappear into the other world on the other side of the screen. Arriving at his destination, which is practically a large cave somewhere in the forest, Bonkers then puts Paul's body down on the floor so he could begin what he is going to do. "Alright. Time to make new brother," he said gleefully.

He starts by bringing out a pair of pants that are like his. But unlike the ones Bonkers is wearing, the pair in his hand are light brown and fit a child's size. Going over to the boy's legs, the hammer wielder removes Paul's shoes and socks and throws them on the ground to the side. He wants to ensure that his new little brother gets the feel of the earth beneath his feet. Bonkers then puts the pair of pants he had on the boy. When it's put on, the pair of pants then works some of the magic inside it starts to transform the boy.

It begins with the arms gaining a large amount of muscle on the lower arms just like Bonkers' arms are. Paul's red shirt then turned into a jacket like piece with the sleeves missing, matching the hair color. His hair turns pompadour style, and became attached to the 'jacket' in an instant. The eyes then become covered completely, but also allows Paul to see better. The frame of the boy's body becomes more and more like Bonkers while being a bit taller.

Paul's bare feet then widen a bit and toughen up on the soles so that he can go without shoes. The legs then strengthen as well with the knees becoming hard as a rock. The same thing happens with the rest of the bones after this. Not that Paul would know once he wakes up. Because by the time he does awaken, the 9-year old won't remember a single thing about his old life. The thought of the final changes made Bonkers smile in a sinister way.

As the mental changes went in progress, the changed Paul then stood up and rocked back and forth on his bare feet in a trance-like state. Each and every one of his human memories are fading away and are being replaced with those of being Bonkers' little brother. They include how Bonkers protected him from the dangers of the harsh world they live in, watching Bonkers swing his hammer a lot during his older brother's training, and also brawling all the time during his own training and against any dangerous enemies. By the time these changes have finished, the boy named Paul has vanished and in his place is Conkers, the little brother of Bonkers.

"Hello little bro," Bonkers then said to him. "how do you feel?" Said little bro then wakes up and smiles to his brother and says in response, "Great big bro, Conkers doesn't feel any more better. But where are we? Why aren't we at forest?" Being told that they got lost somehow and that Conkers hit his head, the two gorilla-like beings then exit the cave and try to complete their training. And no one has ever heard from the redheaded boy named Paul for a long time.
