In the cinema the couple in front of us started disturbing us
It was a Friday evening when we went to the cinema
the hall was crowded, people chatting loudly till the movie started
on my right side was my wife, in front of us were another couple
the show started promptly at six in the evening

during the movie the couple in front of us started chatting
it seemed the lady was answering the man's questions
of course they were disturbing us watching the movie
on and off they continued to chat to themselves

'what is this nonsense?' my wife asked me with impatience
'ignore them and watch the movie' I told her
we were trying to concentrate on the movie
but the couple in front of us denied that

we spent a hour and a half in despair
at last the movie had ended
as we started to walk to the exit
I looked at the couple who distracted us

the lady was holding the gent's left hand
and she was leading him to the door
the gent was wearing a pair of dark glasses
on his right hand was a gleaming white cane!
