A poem I wrote about a girl I knew once
You are the summer sun
And I, the winter moon.

So alike,
So different.

They pant beneath you,
But they shiver beneath me.

They stay wrapped in you for days,
But they escape me, so quickly, as though I was never there at all.

They dance, naked, under your gaze.
But they stay clothed, concealed under mine.

But they adore you,
And they adore me.

For you are a endless passion,
And I, a fleeting calm.
