Time can be deceptive to the young. [The Neville]
Time's Deceit



Naïve. The tick of time deceived
my eye upon the clock.
Each minute crept to mock
remaining youthful days conceived.
But harsh reality
exposed mortality.
I blinked to find old age achieved.
