A brief, in the moment, silly poem about experiencing insomnia.
Well, hello there, 3am
It looks like you've seduced me again
Why am I here when I should be in bed?
Won't these ideas get out of my head?

Well, hello there, 4am
I like you, but I don't think we can stay friends
I skipped my nap today
And I still don't feel tired anyway

Well, hello there, 5am
I'd much rather be experiencing REM
My body is in the midst of aching
And if I said I liked you, I would be faking

Well, hello there, lumpy mattress
I might like you even less
I try so hard to care for you
But frankly, you are quite the shrew
