A poem about the kind of mother that uplifts your soul
There are some things I have to say.
You're the one that brings me through my day.
When I'm miserable or feeling blue.
I can smile when I think of you.
It may sound, kind of cliche,
that you're the sun that warms my way.
You nurture my dying roots,
you're the sincerest of nature's truths.
When life was tearing me down,
you were there to straighten my crown.
When my fears filled me with doubt,
you were the light that broke through that cloud.
You may think that I'm exaggerating,
that you're nothing worth celebrating,
but I will never find another
You are the best, and I love you Mother.
