A poem about the warmth of a home. (Short and sweet)
I think the:

winter hails’ tap on my windows makes the ferocious storm somehow calm,
aged breathing of a pensioner makes life worth the fuss,
photographed smiles imprint on our hearts,
dim light settles dust over of us,
fireplaces’ chimney smoke makes the choking attic birds peep,
dropping of a pin signals mice to come and feast,
grandfather clock helps me count sheep as this ancient house sleeps and
now I know what it’s like to live in bliss.
