ਅੰਦਰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ
ਬੁਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ।

ਚੰਗੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ
ਰਾਹ ਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।

ਐ ਮੇਰਿਆ ਰੱਬਾ ਦਸ
ਕਿ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।

ਇਹ ਵਿਕਾਰ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਨੂੰ
ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਮਾਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।

ਕਿਉਂ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਜੱਗ ਅੰਦਰ
ਮੂਲ ਆਪਣਾ ਭੂਲਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।

ਅੰਦਰ ਜੰਗ ਛਿੜੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ
ਚੰਗੇ ਬੁਰੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ।

ਅੰਦਰ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗੀ ਪਈ ਹੈ
ਪੰਜਾਂ ਵਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ।

ਚੰਗੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ
ਰਾਹ ਨਾ ਲੱਭ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।

ਐ ਮੇਰਿਆ ਰੱਬਾ ਦਸ
ਕਿ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ।
