What I feel when touring old battlefields.
Battlefield

Inside the silent battlefield
tortured souls stay hidden
until the winter sun has set
where the enemy soldiers once met.

Inside the silent battlefield
prayerful souls would often kneel
before the battle raged, the
devil’s playground was staged.

Inside the silent battlefield
mournful souls have never healed
spirits here forever remain
holding fast their last domain.
