Just a thought about how big are the little things in a relationship

Am I wrong to pay attention to the little things?
Like if you don’t kiss me before we part ways one day.
Or if you keep your eyes open when you do.
Am I wrong to think they mean something?
Like you’re not as into me as I am into you.
Or that you’re just too busy focusing on the bigger things
The ones that mean something to you

Am I wrong to think that if I’m online and you’re online?
That I must give priority to your messages because you’re all mine
Am I supposed to be ok with you not praying because of me?
As though a cancer that gnaws at your spirituality

Am I wrong to think that when you stop calling me baby and honey
Something is on brain that’s causing you to act funny
Or when you don’t speak a word but say you’re ok
Should I make it a problem since I’ve seen you when you’re really ok?

I guess the little things I pay attention to may just be little things to you.
But these little things are big things to me.
