A Haiku Chain
Sleep is a shadow
it's a never ending dream.
One of horrid silence.

Sleep is our very need,
a fragile topic we crave
yet we never clench.

Sleep becomes our sin.
Sleep captivates our spirits
and whispers them back.

In the dark we lay,
seeming sheltered and calm
but we are afraid.

Both dreams and nightmares
illuminate who we are,
reflecting our souls.

Midnight hour comes by
begging you to shut your eyes.
The monsters wanna play.
