Poetry on belonging. A find my place theme.
I belong to two cities, a life based on stories, with constant worries. A part of them twain. The sound of birds or the honking of cars - a part of them twain. In surly silence or happy laughter, beneath the glare of the sun or in cool waters - a part of them twain. I belong to two cities, a case of Cain and Abel. My life is based on stories, a shakespearean tale. Be it the Castle on the hill, or the Cottage in the valley - a part of them twain.
