an observation of the soul and reality
Interestingly enough, I think all of us agree that there's something more beyond the realm of the physical. And well, some may not agree, but I would argue that most do. I just question exactly what it is that we are dealing with. What it is that makes us fear, close in, worry, or the opposite. What is it that makes us be filled with bliss, ecstacy, or even ready and willing to live. I just question, because it feels that sometimes these emotions come out of nowhere. And really it guides me. But to where?

Well I really don't know where it guides me, but it guides me past the physical and sometimes mundane reality. Reality isn't mundane in itself, but isn't it true that 'everything gets old.' An old adage, what's the new adage? It's 2017, there has to be a 'new adage' of sorts that says that everything doesn't get old.

Back to the soul.

We exchange this word around with a blatant disregard to what the soul really is. I don't quite understand it, but as I get older I start to see more and more parts of it. It defines who we are, how we think, how we behave, how we discover. Now really, this is only taken from observation, but there does seem to be a lot of truth to it.

I read something today that said 'music is the spirit of the soul.'

But what does that mean?

It feels as if music, which can be a gateway, or physical painting that explains this unseen reality. Music looks you straight in the eyes, without you seeing back. But you feel it, you dream it, and you believe it.

(Using music here as only an example, there are other possibilities that can produce the same levels)

Like music, we can't (for the most part) see the soul.
But we can feel it, and sometimes we can hear it.

An observation, an idea, and a Brief Staticity of the Soul.
