A young friend passed recently.Don't normally write rhymes, but this came to me quickly.
Crooked smile
and a toast to fun
you took off quickly
on the run

You drove too fast
so carelessly
And wrapped yourself
around the tree

Mockingbird
he sings a song
of sadness for you
all day long

Melancholy for the
ones left behind
your infectious laugh
fresh in our minds

So Heaven bound
you go, our brother
Met at the Gates
by your loving Mother.

So, know you're loved
we'll miss you more
and pray we meet
on some beautiful shore.
