Little spider getting big, and little human getting a sister.
Nuclear reactors' securities are among the most strict and restrictive protocols that are up, given the potientially cataclysmic consequences if a failure, or worst, would've come to occur. And yet, no one would've ever dare to imagine that the incoming shown affair would've gotten such unexpected and unforeseeable effects, especially when it comes to the two main 'victims' and antagonists.

(Note: For understanding purposes, the point of view will be told whenever felt required.)

Spider: A spider was throughoughly weaving one of her webs that she has gotten to master so she could catch her next meal, having spotted a nice spot among à flowery patch of grass, leaves and plants glistering under the sun thanks to the rain from earlier this day, while swaying and rustling under a cool gust of wind, that, to the dismay of the little critter, suddenly and forcibly strengthen up, sending her up flying after she desperatly struggled to hang onto her unfinished work.
After her unwanted defeat, she recrocvillates onto herself, dreadfully awaiting her fate, that, by force of means, made her genuinely and softly land onto a truck, oddly enough, just behind the cabine.
Still under the shock of the flight of her life, the little insect cowers in her makeshift shelter, protected from the wind by the aerodynamic frame of the running truck.

The truck stops at a checkpoint, still running, causing the vehicle to vibrate, while its driver completely ignores the passenger who cautiously peek off her hiding point, before going hastily back, hearing the driver and guards speaking up, their voices unproperly squeched down, keeping them loud enough for prefering to remain away. At least, as of yet, given it inadvertly allows the arthropod to sneak in, besides a good chunk of the securities of the installation, inside the infrastructure. Eventually, the vehicle fully stops, including the vibrations, followed up by the sounds of steps progressively getting fainter and fainter, up to the point that she finally gather the courage to tempt her luck, weaving some silk to slide down way.

But even then she had the freedom to roam around the buildings with more or less ease, preys were, for some reasons, seemingly inexistant, while thoses giants roams around like nothing could spot nor entangle them, disregarding thoses strange colored markings. Regardless, light and noises pops out from nowhere and from everywhere at the same time. And no holes to cower in, at least, that seems not to be too hot, at least for some time, just enough to make a hasty retreat into a not-so-convieniently placed air vent.

Now getting calmed down in the friendly embrace of the dark, the spider seeks for the sun, travelling fearlessly for the nearest point of light, disregarding any potential differences between artificial and natural, if ever noticeable, following an unnatural urge, which remained in check suffiently enough to maintain the use of her web assets to climb down from another opening in the vent. Then, when she landed, a huge shockwave of energy came from her, spreading around, going through the walls, before she faints up.

  Arnaud O'neil 'Nel':

Neil and Spider: A second shockwave, much like the previous one, comes off from the spider, which, this time around, sends the three humans that hurried nearby in, in full hazard combinaisons, to protect themselves, backward, two of them onto the nearest wall, harshly enough to knock them unconcious, while Neil, part of the three that came to investigate the 'incident' got also sent sprawling, sliding onto the floor instead, still concious.

Then, at the same time, both Neil and the spider went under some strange and unique transformations: The spider partially wakes up, moving around in a drunken manner, before being force to stand onto her back legs, supporting her new, awkward position by leaning onto the wall. Her legs progressively fuse up, forming humanoid arms and legs. Her hands shapes into humans', with their distinctive five fingers, incluing thumbs. Her legs, on the other hand thickens up into large conish talons, with her feet becoming large, tubby, single-digit claws. Her chest is following suit, getting somewhat thin around the belly, arcing slightly forward as a bellybutton sprouts on her belly, while her shoulders, ass and thights get more refined, and more pronounced for the latter two, followed up by her new pair of breasts. At last, her neck lengthens ever-so-slightly, while her mandibules becomes less prominent, concluding her changes as her fur, once brown, turns white as snow.

For Neil, for some reasons, his body undergoes similar changes, while remaining different, as he is human: His lean body becomes lithe, getting effeminate, losing his masculinity, among his distinctive assets. His skin becomes a hazy fur, getting a charcoal hue, covering her new growing feminine and spidery assets, especially for her abdomen sprouting besides his thickening thights and ass, as well as besides his hazmat combinaison. His hair lengthen, forming a crimson flock of shoulder-length hair, while two small protuberances, shaping themselves as mandibules, sprouts besides her mouth. Lastly, his legs follows the same changes as the spider, conish talons, while his feet gets equally framed claws, losing anything mamallian, that doesn't unbalance him due to his position, but does inadvertly tear through his boots.

Then, for a second, everything went silent, just for the time for a link between the spider and Neil, without anyone knowing, as of yet, and, as the alert kicks back in, Neil start to dwindle in size, while the spider actually grows. And as the spidet constantly shifts her position, both to get used to her new self as well as to try to not get stuck because of her increasing stature, Neil feels weak, so much his muscles remains unresponsive, rendering him unable to struggle to get off his combinaison. On top of that, while the newly grown insect's size wouldn't threathen others directly, she feels enclosed, attempting to free herself by pushing onto the roof, only stopping because of hint of empathy going through her mind, long enough to gather the threathened beings undernearth herself, to stand as shield, so she could resume her destructive attempt for freedom, bracing her body against the rubble, when it crumbles away.

Humans: The time, suddenly, had almost froze, twisted by perception, caused by both shock, fear and, in some cases, pervertion, as the giantess brutally comes off one of the buildings of the power plant, her body bending softly backward, her arms relaxing from the forced ordeal, her bulk still increasing, albeit progressively slower. She grabs two humans, showing surprising care, precision and delicateness, as she safely put them aside, before going for a third one, removing his protection in plain sight, before moving away, remaining near, where she then merely sit down, and sets him down, remaining oblivious to the ruckus she just made.

Half an hour later had passed since the incident, time during scientists and soldiers alike had been coming and pressing on, to keep the perimeter shut, understanding why the reactor's main system had been mostly down, to keep the radiations contained, especially given they distrust the measures they gotten, as the instruments have been showing the lack thereof, and, optionnally, to keep an eye on the giantess, in the possibility that they would need to act and to force her down if the need would've to arise.
