A more frivolous take on a more serious topic
The Gamble

Lonely hearts get cut by diamonds
Dry ice beats through the club
Running through the veins in spades
Sometimes its not enough
Longing for some shelter,
in someone else's hand
A King who needs a queen
A Queen who needs her man
A Jack stacked in a burning deck
Chips sweaty in his hand
Calling shots and raising stakes
With a poker face, a plan
Praying that the dealer's
Feeling generous this night
'Cause the kitty's looking pretty
With a full house in his sight
Across the floor she sees him,
Eyes like diamonds in the light
He makes a wish to lady luck,
… her heart is flush tonight
