We tend to do our best to live a good life and seek the power to survive.
To whatever degree
Whenever it's dark
It's hard to see.

When lit
Darkness takes
A flee.

Light is wanting
As our feet
Go walking.

We socialize
As we initiate
The talking

No pain no gain
As we strive
To soothe the soul.

But hard work is
The struggle to reach
The goal.
