Dealing with my depression
Another Day, Another Breath
April 12, 2012

Like waves in vast blue oceans
Washing against rocks
Shaking them to their core.
Earth rattles, floods consume,
And then there is more.

The uncertainty of the unknown
Sends some screaming while others
Accept their fate.
Flow takes them wherever it goes.
No fear. No Anger. No longing.
No pain. No Joy. No Sadness.
Just peace in being
How we long to be freed.
From thunders of roaring waves.
Against the shaking rocks
The chills run through the body
The one that stands along against
The water’s edge.

No beauty do we hold of this earth.
Only seeing reflections of its
Passing souls.

Eyes open, sunshine surrounds the
The calm and the still. As ebbing tide
Becomes a distance away.
That is when I know
I will survive another day.
