Trying to find the right way to celebrate growing old with my wife.
I watch you sleep,
morning light caressing your sweet face.
I fall in love anew.

You are at peace,
daily cares given a moment of respite.
You are beautiful as ever.

I see the lines,
worry and strife are part of your aging.
I know the largest are from smiles.

You are mother supernal,
nothing is more important than family.
You sacrifice all for us.

I watch you sleep,
as I have done for over two decades.
I am in love anew.
