A meditation on the lost souls in our society
The Troubled Souls

Who will love the troubled souls
With which this world abounds
These broken, tragic, fragile folks
Once lost then seldom found

Didn't they have hopes and dreams
And lots of things to say?
But somewhere in the mists of time
They seemed to lose their way

Yet if they got help they need
I wonder who they'd be
But who will love the troubled souls?
I guess that's down to me
