I'm not ready for school-yet 15 lines, 76 words
Back to school today-
I'm not ready to go.
I don't want summer to end,
and take away its days of
sleeping in
doing nothing
hanging with friends
playing games all day.

I'm not ready to go back and study.
To be all disciplined with my reading.
Getting up early and driving to school,
when the morning is still night.

Please, don't let this be
the last day of summer.
Please, just delay it another year!
