Poem. Raw and spontaneous.
We don't appreciate sunny days anymore.
The brightness that engulfs everything.
Each colour rising, screaming of its existence.
Shadows, into themselves, hiding.
And life, out to the world, smiling.
Why don't we appreciate sunny days anymore?
Maybe we've gotten too used to the gloom,
Maybe we're too sure of our own doom.
