He is there with her, and I am here....alone.
"The Clock Chimes Three A.M."

Clock's melancholy chime makes it known,
it's three in the morning. I am alone.
You missed our usual rendezvous.
Sweetheart, tonight I'm missing you.

One more beer before I close my blurry eyes.
Your hand in mine, last time we said our goodbyes.
It was then when I met her in your home.
And now I am here drinking alone.

Another visit with you, I do not anticipate.
Tonight, frightening images appear in a dreamscape.

With both fists on her hips,
with a smile on her lips,
I still hear her smacking.
She's sucking and snacking
on our sacred souls; bereft.
Only scratched pieces left.

Clock's melancholy chime makes it known,
you're now with her. I am all alone.
