The emotions of the heart
Hold me firm to thy willing heart
And let these emotions of agony fall
Perhaps, that I of need might fall apart
Purge this dreadful pain of this desolated soul

You are the flower, I the dreg full of ugliness
But the alluring eyes! That feed my hidden ecstasy
In me, a bleak emptiness, in thee a life of fullness
Rolling through this unsought night, enduring its painful glory

The morning dream ne’er an existent and no peace to mind
How long thou shalt continue the rough strife
Driving out this strange thing, a beast so wild
And the unknown feelings rush to gather some life
Yes, still I long in the times of tears with thy thoughts and dreams
