This is the story of a young man who starts a brand new life in Jamestown.
There was a white light in front of me, pain was striking all over. My abdomen, neck, my everything. Was this the end? I heard a scream ring out, and some other language I couldn't speak. In these last moments, my life flashed before my eyes.....

London by Hal-Senpai
Footsteps, ringing bells, and people's voices flooded my ears. I had been sitting in an alley that day--The day that changed my life.-- My father was out making his pitiful attempts to sell some of his wears, while I kept cover in an alley to avoid getting into trouble. There was a light pain in my abdomen along with a rather loud grumble, I was starving. The last meal I had was a couple nights ago, my father had managed to sell a couple things and afford some soup and bread.--Not the best, but it sufficed. I placed my arm over my stomach in a vein effort to make the grumbling and pain stop, but alas, nothing happened. I'd just have to deal with it. My light-colored eyes glanced up from the ground to the street outside the alley. Young boys around my age were running around, tossing a rag of some kind while a women ran after them with an upset look on her face. Normally I'd join them in the act of terrorizing the local laborers, but today, I didn't feel like it. After a while of my watching, someone who seemed to be in a rush, ran right into a puddle of water, which to my luck had been right next to the alley. Water splashed my entire front side, it was dirty, cold water, I'd probably get a disease from this now! I looked at my appearance in the puddle, my dark-brown hair now soaked and mottled from the dry and wet spots. I wiped the dirty water off my face with my linen shirt's sleeve. I did
n't really care about my clothes, they were already ruined, my father had taken them from off of a clothing line about a week before this eventful day.

Three hours had passed, this was when everything changed. About three young blokes approached me, they looked to be a couple years older; They were buzzing with excitement to tell me the news. "Hey, boy! Yeah, you! We've got big news!" I looked up at the three boys. "What news do have exactly?" The boy in front wasted no time. "The biggest news ever! In a couple years, people are going to heading to the New World to explore the terrain!" I raised an eyebrow, crossing my arms. What did that have to do with me? Nothing. "Yeah, so?" "So..! You won't be stuck living like this in the New World! You could build a huge castle and no one's stopping you!" That 'this' was strained--He was talking about living in poverty. That statement had caught my attention, the first thought that came to my mind was that my father and I could live like aristocrats in the New World! My eyes sparkled with ambition and excitement, I wanted to go there! I wanted to be able to do whatever I pleased! I would soon learn, that wasn't the case. "Thanks for telling me! You're the best! God bless you, brothers!" I squeaked, jumping up, and bounding off giddily to find my father and tell him the news.

(New story! Panchu will currently be on hiatus 'till I find the inspiration to continue that. So, now, follow this young boy on his path to a better life. Some of the historical moments in this historical-fiction might be inaccurate, so this is just a disclaimer. If there's anything you'd like to inform me, please do so ^^)
