Watch out. Pay attention.

We as a people are all greedy.
Accepting fools gold as commodity.
It's a game played but lost continually.
As the magician reveals our vulnerability.

The flash of lights and noise distractingly,
Becomes our focus as we watch intensely,
We are amused by the spectacle of grandiosity,
That the trick is missed for its simplicity.

The magician sways and we all clap rhythmically,
Like a swami snake charmer he sees our vanities,
As long as we think we can see transparency,
We'll just hand our house keys over willingly.

He says watch now watch me so very closely,
As he begins to reveal to us his trickery,
We only see the boom the flash the mystery,
All the while his assistant robs us blindly.

So occult truth is just a lie truthfully,
And a hidden mirror reflects openly,
The magician goes town to town quietly,
Cause he knows we as people are all greedy.
