brown hazel eyes stare up out a cab window amazed at how tall the buildings are and the crowds of people scouring down the many blocks the cab took she was on her way to this apartment the college had posted on their website for potential students she had already paid her part of the deposit the apartments where three bedrooms and where shared by new students she didn't know her roommates but she hoped they where cool people. the cab stopped in front of this tall brown stone building that seem to touch the clouds the cab driver put tghe car in park as she stepped out the cab driver opened the trunk and lifted her bags to the curb Diamond took a deep breath and exhaled and handed the driver his fair plus a tip she slung her duffel over her shoulder and pull the handle from her roller and enter the double door that lead into the foyer the room was well lit it had gold trimming that seem to glisten and the light at the other end of the room was two elevators to the right was a high top counter that barley gave you a glance of the top of a man head that had seen too many years in the sun
