Spenserian rhyme scheme sonnet, on-line dating trial
chose sparring partners from records sampled
re-entering the ring with shoulders hunched
brief sound of bells, then suddenly trampled
attacked from all angles and sucker-punched
grinding my teeth as my back-bones are crunched
shoulder/ composure dislocated. Snapped!
cauliflowered ears, lips, and nose are scrunched

The strategy I mapped was quickly scrapped

(more than my groin and buttocks are chapped)
absorbing the blows, now thoroughly stomped
both billfold and forehead karate-slapped
trainer! throw in the towel! and make it prompt...

Referee counts, though I am still being kicked
First-Round-Knockout wasn't hard to predict
