if we could only start over...
I want to say
Can we start over?
Wish we could--
Start fresh, anew.
Without the past

Yours, mine, ours.

It's simply not
possible-we bear
the scars-though
wounds have healed.
Some. They're

yours, mine ours.

Do those who leave
one relationship for
another believe the past
won't go with
to become

yours, mine, ours?

Instead, we'll stay...
And start
Another way,
Let's try
Open hearts, open hands.

Yours, mine ,ours.
