She's "just a friend"
I believed it would be him in the end
but right now he is sitting at his place,
talking along with his new girl; his "friend".
Our canine curled up beside their embrace.

On the couch we bought together, no doubt.
The absence of anger was peculiar.
There is nothing I could care more about
but I’ve grown tired and he’s unfamiliar

He does what he does, I'm not sure what for.
I don't know what he foresees in that girl.
All I know is I can't fight anymore.
Suddenly a lone thought made my heart swirl:

I'll never again see him smile my way
Just like how he smiles at her every day.
