A poem from Cloud Gazing on a Cloudless Word: Year Two
When it is all said and done,
what are you?
A few photographs,
a few smiles.
Maybe a laugh.

If we're lucky,
we get immortalized in a moment
of time.
Forever lingering in people's minds.

What have you done,
to be remembered?
What have you done,
to be forgotten?

Passing doesn't bother me,
it's something that must happen.
What bothers me,
is being forgotten.
