Everything you need to know about fangirls. Disclaimer: I'm not an actual proffesional.
Fangirls. You've heard crazy things about them. Let me assure you: we are freaking crazy. Maybe the reason for reading this guide is that you want to make fun of us. Maybe you want to become a fangirl. Maybe you're just interested in what I have to say about them. Whatever the case, you're going to be experiencing a lot of...things. Here. We. Go.

1.) What is a fangirl?
A fangirl is a girl who is obssesed with a certain T.V. show, book, or movie. Or an actor. Or a charcter. Or basically anything from comics to music. For example, I am currently obssesed with the Percy Jackson series, including Heroes of Olympus, Magnus Chase, and Trials of Apollo.

2.) What is the purpose of a fangirl?
Fangirls have one purpose in life; to make fanatsy become reality. Unfortunately, that's not possible, so we do the next best thing; write fanfiction. What's fanfiction, you ask? Fanficiton is a story about a character or characters that is not originally yours. You can write fanficiton about any of your book or T.V. obssesions.

3.) What's that weird languge fangirls speak?
Well, I'm glad you asked. Here's a list of fangirl lingo that will be absolutley helpful when talking to a native (from fangirltherapy.com):

Angst~ fanfics that are dark and depressing, often because of characaters not being able to be together or other reasons

AU~ short for alternative universe, where charcters from one genre move to another or into real life
