Dreams and passion of a kid aspiring to become an astronaut. His final moments in space.
DREAMS

Maybe,
I can fly
reach the stars
across the planets
past the moon
into the sun
just maybe.

I know i'll fail,
i'll be
laughed at,
scorned at,
mocked at,
i know.

I know,
not today
not tomorrow
not after
but some day
one day
i know
I'll fly.

DEATH

I'm a starman.
drifting through space
lost in an ocean of darkness,
I live my final hour
beneath the ember sun,
under the twilight moon,
among the silver stars,
all waltzing to this heavenly opera.
Something holds my hand
soothing me,
whispering 'goodbye',
as my last breath fades away
into the cosmic void.
