Sometimes your kids can make you very proud of them.
My Daughter
My daughter made me proud of her
I don’t know what to say,
She saw a young child crying
Because no one asked her to play.

She had two facial impairments
And walked with a noticeable limp
Her clothes were torn and ugly
Kids called her Charlene the chimp.

My daughter took her to play swing outside
Next inside hey played “Go Fish”
Then Ally walked Charlene back home
And went in to see Charlene’s new goldfish

Charlene came back for a few more times
Before her family moved away
But Ally had made a really good friend
And showed me her good heart, I think of everyday.
