Susan was just heart broken. A man of her dreams came into her life and changed everything
Susan was having a wonderful night with her husband, Mark. The two were happily married for 3 years. They had a candle lit, beautiful, well-planned dinner. Mark ordered the chefs to make baked salmon, asparagus, and red wine. It was Susan's favorite thing to eat. Once they were done eating Mark ordered his staff to clean up the plates and candles. The two love birds went to their house. Mark started to kiss Susan and place his hand on her lower back. Susan started to remove Mark's clothes. That's when Mark abruptly stopped. Making Susan ask "Whats wrong". "Susan i have to tell you something. I have kept a very large secret for a long time" he said slapping his hand on his head. "W- what is it" Susan said scared. She didn't know what was about to be said and change her life forever. That's when Mark said the words "Susan....... when i was 17 years old i committed murder with my two friends Alberto and Rob. I know it was a mistake. The police never found the body to convict us with". That's when Susan put on her shoes, got her purse, slapped Mark and ran out of the house into her car and to her mom's house as fast as she could. Mark knew he messed up. Big time. There was no come back for what he just said. Mark wondered what she was thinking. How she felt about him. Every small detail. On the way to her mom's house Susan broke down and started crying in the car. "How could he have kept this for so long" she thought to herself. Their whole marriage as ruined because of something that happened 15 years ago. She texted Mark "It's over. I never want to see you again. You lied to me. You broke my heart. Its over." Finally she made it to her mom's house. Knocked on the door and cried even more than before. Susan was heartbroken. She told her mom everything starting with the candle lit dinner. Susan's mom was indeed furious. Red hot, fume raging, furious.
