Sorry I have not been on lately. Enjoy!
Death's tendrils slid through every crack,
Twisting and twirling on one main track
T'wards the bed of a sleeping Zach,
Never once thinking of turning back.

As it continued moving to his bed
It laughed wickedly as it said,
"You can't fight much longer get that into your head,
You'll be mine in a minute for your better off dead!!"

With a shuddering breath the boy gave in,
He whispered goodbye to all his kin
Before letting Death take over within,
As it pulled his life force out like a pin

In the morning when the house awoke,
His mother went to have a look,
She screamed and nearly had a stroke,
As her heart slowly broke.

Friends soon came to say it would be okay,
But the poor broken family had nothing to say
As they could no longer keep their emotions at bay,
Soon after they all moved away.
