A Metaphor for June
This poem is entered in "Shadows and Light Poetry Contest" 

Chasing Monday from the ocean
with a wave and a smile
Tide always going out
in some feeble bit of mendacity

Words perpetually mattered
with each photographic pause
Crystal shore of wasted tears
start June the way it concludes

Whispered timeless secrets
embracing destiny's reflection
Never collect another thought ~
Monday's a day like a melody
no one hears
in time~
