Writer's Cramp Entry 7/30 - Alliteration
This poem is entered in "The Writer's Cramp. Alliteration is in bold.

The basset hound sniffs soft, scented snow
Her walks winding westward
Determined nose nuzzles neighborhood aromas
mystical morning meandering, melting ...

The bovine beauty bathes in the sun's waning winter warmth
Petty, privileged posturing, left to humans
Watched train wheels whistle, whispering lies
Night's secrets, peacefully pausing to ponder

Hungry hearts hasten homeward
bound for dreams of beckoning breezes
bearing blossoms, signifying sudden
sheer, shimmering shroud
of blazing butterflies ~~
