Ghost in my eyes,
The one I loved in the past,
We lived on lies,
Love held like wet sand,
Passions failed to materialize.

Ghost that haunts me,
It never really surprises,
While I sit alone in my head,
It pesters like a fly,
As I rot in memories.

Ghost that lingers despite my cries,
The one I want to forget,
As my spirit dries,
My living body walks in life,
Burdened until her curse dies.
