The day he had left
“You broke your promise,” I said with a feeling of sadness in my eyes. “Why?”

Just like that, he snapped his fingers. I was gone. Out of his life, heart, and sheets.

I don’t understand why he kicked me out, or why he lied when he said, “I love you”. All I know is what it was like when he was there. The smell, the taste, the feel of him. It constantly haunts me.
Every time I close my eyes I still see his silhouette, his warm smile that could melt an ice cream bar a thousand miles away.

Now it’s time for me to get over him, over the fact I ever held him, and over that fact that I even kissed him. I don’t want to, but I will.
