The lay-off I feared - a rhyming poem.
So never longed for this tomorrow,
With all its problems, pain, and sorrow.
But now that day has come and gone,
And severance pay must now be drawn!

A job worth keeping, namely mine -
Requiring tasks and details fine,
With dedication, sights so keen,
Has met the end, a vicious scene...

This cherished work, forever done.
A brand new chapter has begun.
With polished skills and timely scope,
I look for work, attempt to cope.

The time-off’s great, no problem there,
No daily grind, or Monday’s care.
Just vying for the nicest fit.
Avoiding long commutes, that’s it!
