Your running....and running, but from what?
The cold rushing wind brushed against my whole body, the cold sweat dripping down, down, splat. As I was running in the deep dark palm of the woods, I could feel it, getting closer. My legs were trembling so hard I felt like the jello my mother used to serve to me as a child. Darker, darker the woods became. I felt loss in a abyss of darkness and horror. I could hear it running in the darkness, getting closer every step. Then it happened, I had hit a dead end, "No,No,No" I thought, thinking what to do. Then I turned around and there it was, a creature I will never be able to fully describe to you, I don't know if I was blinded by my own fear or if I decided not to look because when I saw it, It just looked like a blur of darkness, with eyes that did not have a color, but a emotion, that emotion was sadness. As I stared into it's eyes then it happened, razor sharp claws reaching, reaching, the things hand was right there nothing more then a centimeter away from my face when it happened. I woke up in a cold sweat, sitting it my bed, my husband asleep right by me. I have that dream sometimes, but sometimes it's worse, sometimes it's so scary it seems to be real. When these dreams accrue I swear right when I wake up, I still see that thing, in the closet, in the hall way and sometimes.... I see it in myself.
