Life day to day
A patch of sunlight in a gray sky
Another day, another reason to try
This life is made for wonder and love
A hawk soars high above
My spirit animal, my protector
Not a ruse or a deceptor
He lets me know that I am not alone
Not just a body of skin and bone
My soul is one with nature
It keeps me centered to continue on life's adventure
